Beyond my research in astrophysics

As much as I enjoy my research, I am interested in a wide range of topics. Here are a few things I enjoy doing or learning about:

Science Communication

The most rewarding part of being a scientist is the ability to share my passion for science with others. I enjoy engaging with the public through science communication and outreach activities. I have experience giving lectures and workshops for a wide range of audiences, including high school students, university students, and the general public.

Data science & AI

I am fascinated by the power of data to drive insights and inform decision-making. It is exciting to live in a day and age where artificial intelligence is revolutionizing a wide range of industries and sectors. I use various tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot (with caution) to assist me in my daily life and work and never reject an opportunity to learn more about these topics.

ESG & Climate

As a member of a generation facing this crisis, I am curious about understanding the factors contributing to this issue and finding solutions to mitigate its impact. I like to deepen my knowledge of weather patterns and climate systems, as well as the current efforts to address climate change.

Volleyball

Having competed at the highest national level and in international competitions with both clubs and the national team until age 22, I ended my professional career due to a shoulder injury. The valuable lessons I learned as a full-time athlete continue to shape my professional career and personal life. I continue to enjoy playing volleyball recreationally.
